Will compressing reduce image quality?
At 70–85% quality the difference is almost impossible to see, while the file gets much smaller. Use the preview and the size readout to find the setting you like.
What is the best format for small files?
WebP usually gives the smallest files and is supported by all modern browsers. Use JPG when a website or app does not accept WebP.
Can I also change the image size?
Yes. Making an image smaller in pixels saves even more space. Use our image resizer, or remove the background first to create a transparent PNG.
